One vehicle, two billing products
The Kia Carnival rental hub lists a luxury family MPV, chauffeur-driven, not self-drive. Local days use ₹8,000 for 8 hours / 80 km. Days that leave Bangalore use ₹80 per km with a 300 km per day minimum. Mixing those on one invoice line is how quotes go wrong.
The luxury fleet page names the same vehicle Kia Carnival Limousine, lists 7 passengers, captain lounge seats with leg support, and a dual sunroof. The Carnival page itself does not print a seat count. This guide uses the luxury-card figure and still asks you to confirm bags with the desk.
When the local slab fits
Meetings with waiting, a household looping relatives, a city sightseeing day — that is local Carnival. Garage legs from Chikkajala count. Extra km ₹80, extra hour ₹800.
When the kilometre card fits
A listed hill, coast or temple package is outstation Carnival. Coorg, Ooty and the other published destinations have their own Carnival pages. This guide will not invent drive times.

Tolls, parking, interstate taxes and GST are extra. After-hours driver BATA is listed as ₹700. The luxury cabs card also prints a Carnival BATA of ₹500 — this cluster uses the Kia Carnival page figure (₹600) until the desk confirms one number. Night running 10:00 PM–6:00 AM attracts double night bhatta on the published terms. Luggage is at the passenger’s risk. Rates can move with the fuel-band note on the Carnival page.
