The walk out of Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL / BLR) is when Bangalore becomes real: humidity, signage, a parking shuttle, and a pin to a hotel you have only seen on a map. A cab from the airport into the city is a one-way job with a messy last kilometre — tech parks with four gates, service apartments on inner roads, wedding venues that do not exist on older maps. This piece is for that inbound leg. It is not a rewrite of how to book or which fare row to tap; that sits in the Kempegowda fare and booking guide.
On Manya Tours’ published pages, the inbound product is still the chauffeur airport transfer. You do not collect keys. The office behind the dispatch is No.339, Chikkajala Village, Jala Hobli, Yelahanka taluk, Bangalore 562157, under Devrundaa Pvt Ltd. Because that garage sits on the airport corridor, the inbound car is a normal 24/7 movement, including the last flight of the night. What “into the city” should mean in the booking
“Bangalore city” is not one drop zone. Whitefield, Electronic City, Jayanagar, Yelahanka, and a resort on the Mysore Road are different ends of the same urban spread. Write the actual address. If you only have a hotel name, add the area. If the office is inside a campus, add the gate the security team uses for cabs.
On Manya Tours’ published airport page, the hire is a one-way to that address. Extra stops on the way — a SIM shop, a relative’s house, a warehouse for samples — are still stops. Waiting during the trip counts as rental. If you already know you will tour three offices after you drop the bags, you are describing a city day, not a transfer. Compare the local package on the local cab service page before you try to stretch a one-way. The 8-hour / 80 km arithmetic lives there and in the billing notes, not on this inbound page.
First landing, hotel night, then work in the morning
Many inbound trips are simple: terminal to hotel, chauffeur returns. That is the cleanest use of an airport one-way. In the morning you can book a fresh city hire, walk, or use whatever the hotel arranges. Mixing “just take me to the hotel and also wait until 11 AM” is how a transfer turns into an open clock.
If the hotel is only a luggage dump and you must reach an office the same evening, say both addresses when you book. The desk can tell you whether that is still an airport job with an extra stop, or whether you should be on the local package. Do not leave the second address as a surprise after the boot is closed.
Women chauffeurs are available when requested. If you are landing late and that matters to the passenger, put it in the first message, not after the car has already been assigned.
Families, teams, and the boot on an inbound flight
Inbound bags are larger than outbound cabin bags. Count check-in pieces. A family of four with four large suitcases is a different car from four colleagues with backpacks. Published one-way fares sit on the airport cab service page and the Kempegowda fare notes. The sedan fare does not buy you the Innova boot.
Force Urbania is the conversation when a whole team lands together and wants one vehicle to a campus. Two sedans can be wiser if people are going to two hotels. The desk will not guess that split. Write the headcount and the number of drop addresses.
Luggage is at the passenger’s risk on Manya Tours’ published terms. Keep the small valuable bag on your lap. Count pieces at the belt and again at the hotel porch.
Terminals, parking, and the landside shuffle
Confirm Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 from the ticket. How you actually meet the chauffeur in the commercial bay — delays, night window, name board — is the pickup and drop walk-through. Stay here for what happens after you leave the airport road: the city address, extra stops, and whether a local hire should start the same day.
Traffic, buffers, and what the chauffeur cannot promise
On Manya Tours’ published terms, the firm is not liable for missed onward connections caused by traffic or delays outside its control. That includes a train after a flight, a temple slot, or a board meeting. Bengaluru congestion does not respect a calendar invite. If you have a hard start time in the city, leave a buffer in the pickup of the next leg, not only in the airport arrival.
Night driver allowance applies from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM; night bhatta is double. An inbound at 11:40 PM is inside that window even if you felt it was “just late evening”. Tolls, parking, and permits remain extra at actuals.
ISO 9001:2015 and an operation dating to 2011 describe the company. They do not flatten Hebbal. If the drop is a timed event, say the door-close time. The honest plan is an earlier pickup from the terminal, not a faster car in theory.
When the inbound cab should become a local hire
Switch your thinking when any of these are true:
- You have more than one city stop after the hotel.
- The chauffeur must wait through a meal, a pooja, or a meeting.
- You want the same car tomorrow morning without a fresh booking conversation.
- The party will add people in the city and keep moving.
On Manya Tours’ published pages, that pattern is the local 8 hours / 80 km package, not the airport one-way row. Hours and kilometres run garage-to-garage from Chikkajala. Waiting counts. Extra-hour and extra-km add-ons are on the local page. A nominal booking advance holds the vehicle; the balance is due on completion.
If you only needed a broader view of transfer types, groups, and airport-versus-city products, go back to how to choose an airport transfer. If you already know it is a one-way inbound, stay on the airport product and give a pin the chauffeur can use without calling you twice.
What to put in the inbound message
- Flight number, date, scheduled arrival, T1 or T2.
- Passenger name as on the ticket if someone is meeting you with a board.
- Hotel or house address, gate, and a backup landmark.
- Any extra stop you already plan (SIM, office, relative).
- Vehicle from the published list, or an on-request model, plus woman chauffeur if needed.
Send that before you board if you can. After landing, a single “bags collected, coming out” message is more useful than a stream of belt photos. The chauffeur is watching the parking instructions and your number, not your camera roll.
For the published inbound rows themselves — Dzire, Crysta, Hycross, and the on-request cars — use the airport service page, then let the Chikkajala desk assign the person who will be standing in the commercial bay.
When your landing is booked, send terminal, city pin, bag count, and whether the car may go home after the hotel, then confirm the vehicle on the airport page before you pay the nominal advance.
